to join our research efforts in the emergency department

Research Associates (RAs) volunteer in the emergency department:
- identifying patients and thier visitors eligible for enrollment in our studies
- providing information about the studies to the potential participants
- collecting data from participants' histories and physical findings
- facilitating the completion of the research
Why come to the emergency department to work in clinical research?
- Emergency Medicine is the specialty caring for the acutely sick and injured
- Research in Emergency Medicine addresses fundamental issues in clinical medicine.
- The emergency department is the "safety net" for all to access medical care.
- Research in this setting can improve health care delivery for millions coming to emergency departments across the U.S.
